Assam Jail Warder 2020 – Eligibility Criteria

For the Jail warder post, you need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria

Nationality

Applicant must be a citizen an Indian Citizen and resident of Assam.

Age

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 38 years

Age Limit:


Educational Qualification:

Essential for Male Warder
(a) HSLC or class X passed from a recognized Board
(b) Candidates should produce undertaking as to known bi-cycling

Essential for Female Warder
(A)Must have passed Annual examination of class VIII or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government.


Physical Standards: 

(i) Minimum Height:

Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC: 162.5 cm (Male) & 144.5 cm (Female)
ST(H)/ ST(P): 160 cm (Male) & 142 cm (Female)

(ii) Minimum Chest (Only for men): 

circumferrence measuring not less than 81 cm
